We have a Strong sell on Copper coins from half cents to large cents to indian head cents .. if you have copper coins graded ms 64 Red and better we have a strong sell on these PCGS and NGC Graded coins .. as we are seeing many of these full red coins turning Red Brown after years in the holders . we even saw a thumb Print etched into the face of a 1853 brained hair cent in PCGS ms 65 Rd holder … of course the coin had lost a lot of it’s value due to this .. in handling cooper coins acids from fingers can contaminate the cooper coins and after years inside a PCGS or NGC holder a reaction can occur making the coin turn Brown. we find this risk to great to be keeping full red copper coins. please call us to help evaluate your coins and give you options based on your individual tolerance for loss..
